Your data
Privacy policy
This site sets no cookies and loads no trackers. The only personal data processed is what you type into the contact form yourself.
Cookies and trackers
This site sets no cookies, uses no third-party analytics, loads no remote fonts and embeds no third-party content capable of tracking you.
That is why you are shown no consent banner: there is nothing to consent to. It can be verified in the site’s source.
What is collected
Only the quotation request form collects data. The fields are as follows:
- Name required — so we know who we are talking to
- Telephone required — so we can call you back
- Email optional — if you would rather have a written reply
- Village or town required — to locate the property
- Type of work optional — to prepare the answer
- Message optional — your description of the roof
- Language of the enquiry filled in automatically, so we reply in yours
Purpose and legal basis
This data is used solely to answer your enquiry: to call you back, prepare a quotation, arrange a visit. It is used for nothing else.
The legal basis is your consent, given explicitly through a checkbox before the form is sent.
Who receives it
Your data is for MBS Roofing Work South France alone. It is not sold, rented or passed to third parties for commercial purposes.
It passes through the technical infrastructure that receives the form and delivers the email, only to the extent necessary for that delivery.
How long it is kept
Your data is kept for as long as it takes to deal with your enquiry, then for three years from our last contact — the period the French data protection authority (CNIL) recommends for commercial prospects. After that it is deleted.
Data relating to work actually carried out may be kept longer where accounting or legal obligations require it.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict and object to the processing of data concerning you, as well as a right to portability.
To exercise any of them, write to the email address below. You will receive an answer as promptly as possible. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
Security
The site is served entirely over HTTPS. The form contains no field intended to collect sensitive data, and asks for no date of birth, no reference number and no banking details — none of which is needed to talk about a roof.
